Exploring the longitudinal effects of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence on knowledge management processes

Managing knowledge has become a new reality for multinational corporations (MNCs). Previous studies in the management field have closely examined personality traits as stable dispositional constructs over time, but they oversighted possibilities that seemingly are likely to different effects on outcomes varying time waves. Combining horizontal and longitudinal surveys, this study collected two-wave datasets of 216 employees from MNCs, built Fixed, Continuous Interacting Models investigate individual emotional intelligence (EI) cultural (CI) key processes organizational (KM) time. This discovered fixed, continuous interacting roles EI CI KM at times, it also concluded traditional assumption conceptualizing variables fixed should be re-examined. The findings provided empirical statistical evidence future research well suggestions MNCs implementing practices.
